We’re at the SU2P Symposium in Glasgow today only

SU2P LogoElliot Scientific is exhibiting at the Ninth Annual SU2P Symposium today only, May 21st, at Strathclyde University, Glasgow.

The two-day Symposium, which concludes tomorrow, includes an exceptional list of speakers from around the world who will present leading edge research and industrial exploitation over a wide range of photonics and related topics. For example, sessions will discuss quantum photonics, optogenetics, and lasers in technology.

Attendees will enjoy the very best in new photonics, international networking, and have the opportunity to see some of the products Elliot Scientific offers from this afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there.

Siskiyou launch a new range of ‘industry first’ diffraction grating mounts

A new range of diffraction grating mounts with a large clear aperture also combine independent and precision rotational adjustment of square components in all three axes – an industry first from Siskiyou Corp.

Siskiyou GMx series mounts can hold 12½ mm, 25 mm and 50 mm square reflective or transmissive optics of any thickness greater than 2 mm, and offer up to 8° of total rotation in each axis, with a resolution as low as 3.2 arcseconds.

All adjustments are accessed from the top of the mount to enable use in space restricted environments, and they can be either table or post mounted for maximum flexibility.

A typical application for GMx mounts would be in the construction of the stretchers and compressors used to manipulate chirped ultrafast laser pulses in laboratory setups, or as OEM components in instruments such as monochromators and spectrometers.

@SiskiyouCorp products for Life Science & Photonics now available through Elliot Scientific
