We’re at the SU2P Symposium in Glasgow today only
Elliot Scientific is exhibiting at the Ninth Annual SU2P Symposium today only, May 21st, at Strathclyde University, Glasgow.
The two-day Symposium, which concludes tomorrow, includes an exceptional list of speakers from around the world who will present leading edge research and industrial exploitation over a wide range of photonics and related topics. For example, sessions will discuss quantum photonics, optogenetics, and lasers in technology.
Attendees will enjoy the very best in new photonics, international networking, and have the opportunity to see some of the products Elliot Scientific offers from this afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there.
We are in Edinburgh next week for IUPAB / EBSA

The joint 19th International Union of Pure and Applied Biophysics (IUPAB) and 11th European Biophysical Societies’ Association (EBSA) Congress takes place in Edinburgh next week.
From Sunday, July 16th to Thursday the 20th., the British Biophysical Society and the Biological Physics Group of the Institute of Physics (IOP) will host an outstanding scientific programme for this major international combined biophysics event. All areas of contemporary biophysics will be included in a varied programme covering single molecule studies to complex machineries.
Elliot Scientific will be demonstrating a complete system from our Optical Tweezers range that features tracking and force measurement on exhibition days: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. You can also ask us about nanopositioning equipment for the microscope from Mad City Labs, as well as LED light sources and instruments designed for microscopy and optogenetics studies from Prizmatix, the LDLS – a novel super bright broadband lamp from Energetiq Technologies, and Spatial Light Modulators from HOLOEYE.
We can be found on Stand 40 within the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
Tomorrow is a SUPA day for us

Wednesday, May 10th, is SUPA day! An annual gathering celebrating Scottish physics taking place at the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh.
SUPA – the Scottish Universities Physics Alliance – comprises the universities of Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot Watt, St. Andrews, Strathclyde and West of Scotland; plus associate members Fraunhofer UK, UKATC, PHYESTA and IMPP.
Elliot Scientific will be at the supplier exhibition that runs concurrent with the talks and presentations.
Tomorrow and Wednesday, visit Elliot Scientific at SPIE Astronomical Telescopes + Instrumentation in Edinburgh

For only two days during the prestigious SPIE Astronomical Telescopes + Instrumentation conference in Edinburgh, will developers and users of telescopes and instrumentation be able to visit our stand at the event’s exhibition. Elliot Scientific is featuring products from leading companies such as Energetiq Technology, Gamma Scientific, Lake Shore Cryotronics and Vescent Photonics.
From tomorrow, our team will be on hand to discuss how the technologies available through Elliot Scientific can help deliver measurement solutions for the problems scientists encounter involving light, magnetic fields, or cryogenic temperatures. We will also be demonstrating two novel light sources – a revolutionary broadband ultra-bright plasma-based lamp and a new tunable LED system that can be programmed to mimic virtually any illuminant or reflected spectrum, plus spectroscopy and laser modules, and more.
The SPIE Astronomical Telescopes + Instrumentation Exhibition take places at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 28th & 29th. For more information, please contact us.
SU2P Symposium at Edinburgh next week
Elliot Scientific will be attending the Seventh Annual SU2P Symposium next week on the 4th and 5th of April 2016 at The University of Edinburgh – the venue being the South Hall Complex at Pollok Halls.
The Symposium includes an exceptional list of speakers from around the world who will present leading edge research and industrial exploitation over a wide range of photonics and related topics. For example, sessions will discuss health, energy and the environment, and optical data communications.
Attendees will enjoy the very best in new photonics, international networking, and have the opportunity to see some of the products Elliot Scientific offers. We look forward to seeing you there.
September Symposia: Busy month ahead for Elliot Scientific
September will see Elliot Scientific attending three conferences in the UK:
3rd-5th
CMMP 12 − Edinburgh Conference Centre – Stand 1
The Condensed Matter and Materials Physics conference takes place alongside ECOSS-29 and ECSCD-11 at the Edinburgh Conference Centre as part of CMD-24: the 24th General Conference of the Condensed Matter Division of the European Physical Society.
3rd-6th
Photon12 − Durham University – Stand 28
Photon12 is the largest optics conference in the UK that embraces a number of important and interconnected constituent conferences with fascinating overlaps and a common social programme. Elliot Scientific is attending the integral exhibition that, as a valuable part of the conference programme, provides an opportunity for researchers and engineers to mix.
17th-21st
European Microscopy Congress − Manchester Central – Stand 813
Elliot Scientific will be joining the UK microscopy community in Manchester for Europe’s largest exhibition dedicated to microscopy and an international conference of the highest quality.
